Scope and content

Roy's friend, John Whitsed contributed that this was taken when Roy was working for the War Photography Unit during the Second World War. Goering's car was found in a ditch towards the end of the War and soon after shot at by American soldiers nearby. A small box was in the back of the car, to elevate Goering when speaking or giving orders.
